• Throughout 8th grade: Tested out of math curriculum, attended a private, two-person, proof-based math class taught by Harvard alum, Professor Ken Fan, with a focus on creative solutions for problems such as the four-color theorem.
• Senior year: After completing BB&N’s highest math course as a Junior, I applied for an independent study in Differential Geometry which got approved by the Director of Students. I follow Barrett O Neil’s Elementary Differential Geometry, complete two units per week, and relay my work to my advisor.
